Evanov Radio Group - Toronto - Ops Manager Adam Robinson had their six year old Air board in their flagship Z103 Air Studio lose its power supply during a weekend in June 2007. That was the deciding moment to install the Wheatstone G4 Surface system in the Z103 Air Studio that have been project planned for installation during the summer of 2007.

All Z103 weekend broadcast operations were moved to the Voice Tracking room where a G4 surface (pix above) was already installed and all audio and closure routing for Z103 was patched in seconds.

Within a 48 hour period, Adam and Leann Brown (Assistant Engineer) had re-arranged the Air Studio furniture and installed the Wheatstone G4 surface to the Wheatstone Bridge Router in the lower level Rack Room.

The new Z103 Air Studio and the Wheatstone G4 surface signed on for the Monday Morning Show in a very smooth transition. Adam has since completed the full installation of Wheatstone G4 surfaces at the Evanov Radio Group facility for 88.5FM The Jewel and AM 530 CIAO-AM.
